Espace Bhakti & Bliss Movement

Bliss Movement, in association with Espace Bhakti, present Kirtan Festival Celebration! This is the fifth edition of an annual kirtan festival, taking place at a church in Montreal at 4560 Rue Adam.

The 2-day festival will take place on Saturday the 23rd and Sunday 24th of August. We will chant, sing, dance, and feast together. Please join us for a blissful, joyful weekend of transcendental meditation. There will also be five delicious vegan meals provided by Govinda’s! All meals are included in the entrance fee.

This event will unite several of Canada’s best kirtan artists, with various styles and genres. Not to be missed by kirtan lovers! Kirtan ?

Kirtan is singing to the Divine, with feeling. Such singing has a benign effect on both the physical and subtle bodies. It is an excellent method of soothing the nerves and directing the emotions to a positive goal. Kirtan melts the heart, fills the mind with purity and generates harmony and Divine love. The chanting of Sanskrit kirtan, even when mechanically done, produces certain effects. When done with devotion, an open heart, and awareness of the meaning, its benefits are immeasurable.

Kirtan is the easiest way to meditate. It is the main practice in Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of love and devotion). Bhakti is the fastest, easiest, safest, and surest path. It is harmless, authorized, recommended, practical, direct, and free.
